USHJA Affiliate Awards Program
We invite you to participate in the USHJA Affiliate Awards Program. The goal of the program is to recognize outstanding junior, amateur and professional riders who exemplify good horsemanship, sportsmanship and integrity for the sport and exhibitors.
The nominations for the awards will be selected by individuals based on the choice of each affiliate, and they will select 3 individuals (1 Junior, 1 Amateur, 1 Professional) from their organization. The 3 award winners from each affiliate will receive:
- USHJA logo t-shirt
- A ribbon
- Certificate enclosed in engraved USHJA silver frame
- Affiliate Awards Yearbook
A biography and picture of each winner must be submitted to USHJA by September 16, 2006. The USHJA staff will compile the biographies and submit them to each regional affiliate committee by October 3, 2006. A conference call will be held on October 14th, 2006 to determine the overall regional affiliate winners. Regional Award winners will be presented at the Annual Meeting, and they will receive:
- Complimentary Active USHJA membership for the upcoming competition year
- A “keeper” trophy
- Complimentary clinic participation of their choice OR a lesson with a participating trainer in their region
